Corallia Beach Vacation & Travel Guide

Corallia Beach is a beautiful stretch of coastline on Cyprus's western coast, near the town of Paphos. This lovely beach has crystal-clear waters, soft white sand, and spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea.

The beach's calm waters and gentle waves make it ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports like snorkeling and paddleboarding. The beach is also backed by a shady strip of trees and bushes, which provides shade from the sun for visitors seeking relief from the heat.

Corallia Beach has a laid-back, family-friendly vibe, with plenty of room for beach games and picnics. The beach also has a number of beachside restaurants and cafes that serve traditional Cypriot cuisine and refreshing drinks.

Aside from its natural beauty, Corallia Beach is conveniently located near several other popular attractions in the area, including the UNESCO World Heritage site Tomb of the Kings and the Akamas Peninsula, a protected nature reserve.

Overall, Corallia Beach is a beautiful destination that has something for everyone, from peaceful relaxation to exciting water sports and exploration of Cyprus's rich history and culture.

Corallia Beach has several shower and toilet facilities located near the parking area and beach entrance. These facilities are clean and well-maintained, with fresh water and soap provided for visitors. However, visitors should note that the facilities can get quite busy during peak season, so it's best to plan accordingly.

How to get to the Corallia

How to get there: The easiest way to get to Corallia Beach is by car. Paphos is well-connected by road to other major cities on the island, so you can quickly drive there from places like Limassol, Nicosia, and Larnaca. If you don't have a car, you can also take a bus from Paphos town, which takes about 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can hire a taxi or ride-sharing service like Uber to get to the beach.

At the central bus station in Paphos, near the waterfront, you need to take city bus # 615, which will take you directly to Coral Bay. Get off at the Coral Bay stop – it’s the final one, it’s hard to miss. Drive 20-30 minutes. A day ticket costs 2 Euro. One way ticket costs 1 Euro. You can get off at the penultimate bus stop – you will get to the less popular part of the beach, from there it is convenient to walk the entire beach from start to finish, about half a kilometer.

The second way is to rent a car and drive around the area. This is for those who are bored of sitting in one place near even the most beautiful beach. We did just that. Paphos is famous for its surroundings both on the coast and inland.
