Lamai Beach Weather

The weather on the island is divided not into two distinct seasons, as in other resorts, but into three. The most popular time for a vacation on Koh Samui is the period from February to May. During these months there is the least chance of rain, and the temperature is kept at a quite acceptable level – about +30 ° C. The water is heated up to +28 ° C. This period of time is considered to be a high tourist season since it is from February to May that Koh Samui has the most comfortable weather conditions for beach and sightseeing holidays.

The low season starts in November and ends in January. However, this does not mean that you should deny yourself the pleasure of visiting a sunny exotic island. If a tourist can easily endure the heat and humidity, then you can go here at the mentioned time, how exactly at this time the prices for accommodation and flights are reduced. The average air temperature can reach + 35 ° C, and water – + 30 ° C. The threat of showers is extremely high, it can rain every day, but, as a rule, they last no more than an hour.

From June to October, the so-called “docking” period lasts, when it rains more often than during the dry season, but less often than during the rainy season. In general, this time can also be considered favorable for visiting the island.
