The Kolymbithres beach is located on the northwest coast of the Peloponnese, in the area of Messinia. The length of the beach is approximately two kilometers. The beach is sandy, shallow, and narrow.

In December and January Kolymbia Beach has rainy season. This is something to keep in mind when planning your trip since it is quite possible that you may be unable to sunbathe.
The fastest way to get to the island is by plane from Athens, the flight will take only about 30 minutes.
You can also use a passenger ferry. You will spend about 5 hours on the way. It is twice as fast to sail on a small speedboat – only 2 hours, but it also costs more.
