Vrisi Beach Vacation & Travel Guide

Vrisi Beach is a beach in Cyprus that has pebbles and rocks along the shore. It is not very large and only has a few hotels nearby. There is also a small pier.

The Vrisi Beach is located in the far east of the island, near the village of Vrisi. The beach is surrounded by a pine forest. The fine white sand and crystal clear waters make it one of the most beautiful beaches in Cyprus.

Vrisi Beach is the second of the three beaches on the largest coastline in Protaras. The Vrisi coast stretches for 800 meters (almost a third of the total length of the city coast), it is divided into 3 beaches, marked with indexes “A”, “B”, “C”. The infrastructure of the Vrisi beaches is capable of simultaneously receiving 2500 tourists. Each of the beaches is individually certified to receive the EU Blue Flag quality mark. The beaches of Vrisi differ from each other by the atmosphere, the type of rest.

The average sea temperature is 22 ℃. Coldest water in February (17 ℃). The hottest water is in August (28 ℃). Hottest months: July 33 ℃, August 33 ℃, September 31 ℃. If you care about the warmest water, then the best months are July water temperature 28 ℃, August water temperature 28 ℃, September water temperature 28 ℃. The lowest rainfall near Vrisiana Beach Bar occurs in January, February, December.

Some people feel that the water at Vrisi Beach is too warm in August.

How to get to the Vrisi

Vrisi Beach is located in the central part of the Protaras coastline. The most convenient way to get to the beach by car is to drive south along Protaras Avenue (one-way traffic). After passing from the intersection Leforos Protara – Kavo Greko with Protaras avenue 350 meters, opposite the restaurant “Malthouse Beer`n`Food” turn left. At the end of the road, behind the roundabout, there is a spacious parking lot. From the parking lot, the exit leads to the northern border of Vrisi beach.
