Tonsai Beach is perhaps the wildest, trendiest, and most expensive of all the beaches of Krabi. For a long time, this wild place was wildly popular with hippies and rastamen. Now a whole business program has been launched here, which has made a simple place a real, not cheap paradise for yogis, rock climbers, and extreme lovers. Since 2015, they began to build a hotel here, so there are no more untouched places on the once-abandoned beach.

How to get:

You can get to this exotic beach by boat taxi from Nopparat Tara or Ao Nang. Fans of extreme sports can get here on foot from West Railay. One of the paths goes through destroyed rocks, and there are even ropes stretched on especially dangerous sections. The journey takes about 10 minutes. There is a longer and more exciting road that starts at the Walking Street sign and goes through the cave. You will have to pay a symbolic amount to enter it, but the impressions of visiting it are unforgettable. It is especially good to get into it during high tides. Tourists are guaranteed to take hundreds of spectacular photos here.

Beach Photos:

The climate of the resort corresponds to that of the Krabi province. It is best to admire the fantastic landscapes of the paradise islands of Krabi from November to May – at this time the air warms up to + 31 ° С, and the water – up to + 29 ° Celsius. It gets a little cooler in the evening and at night. Rains during these months are rare, the sea is calm and transparent. The influx of tourists can be noted in December – February each year. The peak of the heat comes in April-May, and the wet season begins in June and lasts until October inclusive. At this time, there are often thunderstorms, and in between showers the sun shines brightly. The air temperature during the hot season rises to + 37 ° Celsius. The sea becomes hectic and dangerous: the water is muddy, waves rise on the surface, and underwater currents are also possible.
