Senggigi Beach Vacation & Travel Guide

Senggigi is a fishing village in the west of Lombok island in Indonesia. Unlike the south of Lombok, the sand is dark and the water is shallow and without waves. There are many bars and shops everywhere. The central beach near the pier is far from the best, as boats spoil the view and interfere with walking along the coast. Besides, there is a lot of rubbish everywhere – except for the territory of large hotels. Lombok is an Indonesian island in the Malay Archipelago, in the Lesser Sunda Islands group, 35 km east of Bali. It is washed from the south by the Indian Ocean, from the north by the Bali Pacific Ocean. In the east, it is separated from the island of Sumbawa by the Alas Strait, in the west – by the Lombok Strait from Bali. Total area 5435 sq. km, dimensions 70×80 km. The local population is 3 million people. The capital is the city of Mataram.

Fortunately, precipitation does not happen every day, and sometimes only in the evening or at night. Seawater at any time of the year warms up to + 26 … + 28. The best time to travel is from April to November when the sun is always shining and nothing will spoil your vacation.
