Playa Honda

Playa Honda is a small secluded beach in the town of San Pedro del Pinatar in the Murcia region of southern Spain. The beach is a popular choice for surfers because of its location on the Mediterranean coast. The beach is also popular among the Spanish because of its proximity to other popular surfing spots such as “Las Terrenas” and “Punta Paloma.”

If you also want to swim in the warm seawater in winter, you are in good hands at the Mar Menor and the fine long sandy beach Playa Honda. The inland sea is always a little warmer than the Mediterranean because it is very shallow and the climate in south-east Spain is one of the hottest regions of Spain. Playa Honda offers everything for a family holiday and an exciting balance for active holidaymakers who can windsurf, paddle, kayak, and kitesurf. Read more
